It is only recently that Lorraine Kohanowich has given in to her burning passion in this life and that is to paint. Mother of six, grandmother of five, Lorraine still finds time for everything. Gardening, family, and now, full time devotion to decorative painting. She finds inspiration in the works of Charles Wysocki and other American folk artists. Gifted in the way that she sees the beauty in everything and everyone makes her works especially alive! Acrylics are her media of choice. Finishes on all decorative pieces are durable and very fine. They will withstand normal use and enjoyment and are of heirloom quality. Many antique pieces are "rediscovered", and given new life under her artistic hand. New decorative pieces are a joint effort. Partner in life's design and more, Alexander Kohanowich, lends his creative talents through his ability to make something of what most see as "nothing". Together their creations have delighted friends and family alike. We are both pleased and proud to offer them at this time.
